Situated on Rue Massillon, a shopping street in the heart of the old town that once connected the historic market halls and marketplace, the shop is part of a well-established local tradition.

The street is named after Jean-Baptiste Massillon, a French bishop and preacher born in Hyères in the 17th century. It is also close to Porte Massillon, a former gateway through the medieval fortifications leading into the lively streets of the historic town centre.

Known by local residents for the quality of its products and its friendly, neighbourhood spirit, the shop is now continuing its journey with Adrien, supported by his partner Marion. Together, they took over the business with a genuine desire to keep its tradition alive and preserve its authentic taste.

n 2026, Fromagerie Massillon begins a new chapter with its takeover by Adrien and Marion.

Coming from demanding and highly technical professional backgrounds, they decided to retrain and embark on a new career that would give greater meaning to their daily lives and allow them to dedicate themselves to a profession driven by passion.

Adrien previously worked as an after-sales service manager in the high-end swimming pool industry, while Marion specialised in communications and marketing in the medical equipment sector.

Today, they bring their professional skills to Fromagerie Massillon, driven by a desire to do things well, respect the products and preserve a much-loved local address for the people of Hyères.
